Matthew Chapter 24: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)
1And the Jesus, having come- forth, was proceeding from the temple, and the adherents of him came-forward to have exhibited to him the structures of the temple.
2And ╓the Jesus╖ ┌he┐ having replied, said to them, See you not all these, truly I say to you, By-no-means might a stone be dismissed here onto a stone which will not be demolisheda.
3Moreover {upon} him being-seated upon the mountain of the olives the adherents of him came-forward privately to him saying, Say you to us at-what-time it will be these, which {will be} the sign of the arrival possessed-by-you and of the consummation of the eon?
4And the Jesus, having replied, said to them, See you, not someone might mislead you, 5for {the-ones} many will come upon the name of me saying, I am the-one anointed, and they will mislead {the-ones} many.
6Moreover you will intend to hear wars and hearsays of wars; observe you, be scared you not, it-is-needful-for ╓{the-ones} all╖ to have become, but it is not-yet the completion; 7for nation will be arisen onto nation, and kingdom onto dominion, and there will be famines, ╓and plagues╖, and agitations throughout places.
8Moreover all these {are} a beginning of travails; 9at-that-time they will hand-over you into affliction, and they will kill you, and you, having been abhorred from-under all nations, will be because-of the name of me.
10At-that-time {the-ones} many will be stumbled, and they will hand-over one-another, and they will abhor one-another; 11and many false-prophets will be arisen, and they will mislead {the-ones} many; 12and because-of the-one to have been increased the lawlessness, the affectionate-love of the-ones many will be growing-cold.
13Moreover the-one having remained-firm into the completion this-one will be rescued. 14And this good-news of the dominion will be heralded into testimony within the whole inhabited-world, all the nations, and at-that-time the completion will have-arrived.
15Then whenever you might observe the abomination of the desolation, the-one having been said through a Daniel the prophet, having had stood with the sacred place, let the-one, discerning, apprehend; 16at-that-time, let the-ones flee within the Judea ╓onto╖ ┌into┐ the mountains. 17╓Let the one upon the housetop descend╖ ┌Let the one upon the housetop descend┐ not to have lifted up ┬something┬ ╔the ones╗ out of the house of him; 18and let the one within the field not return back to have lifted up the outer ╓garments╖ ┌garment┐ of him.
19Ah!-Woe! Moreover to the ones, having within the womb, and to the ones, suckling, within those, the days, 20moreover pray you so that the flight of you might not become {during} the stormy weather, nor {might it become within} the Sabbath. 21For at-that-time a great affliction will be such-as it has had not become from a beginning of a world-order until the-one now, nor by-no-means might it become. 22and except those, the days, were curtailed, all flesh would not be kept aliveb, moreover because of the-ones selected those, the days, will be curtailed.
23If- at-that-time someone -would say to you, Lo here the-one anointed or here; you might not have-complete-confidence-and-be-totally-entrusting, 24for false-ones-anointed and false-prophets will be arisen, and therefore they will give-freely great signs and portents to have misled, if possible also the-ones selected; 25lo I have declared-publicly to you.
26Then if- they -would say to you, Lo he is within the-one uninhabited, might you not go-forth; {if- they -would say to you,} lo {he is} within the chambers, you might not have-complete-confidence-and-be-totally-entrusting. 27For even-as the lightning comes forth from east and appears until west, thus ┬also┬ the arrival of the son of the humanity will be, 28for where if- the corpse -would be, there the vulturesc will be gathering.
29Moreover immediately after the affliction of those, the days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give-freely the radiance of it, and the stars will fall from the universe, and the powers of the universes will be vibrating;
30and at-that-time the sign of the son of the humanity will be appeared within ╓the╖ ┌a┐ universe, and at-that-time all the tribes of the land will strike-themselves-in-griefd, and they will observe the son of the humanity coming upon the clouds of the universe with a power and a mighty renown. 31And he will send-authoritatively the universal-messengers of him with ╓a great sounde of a trumpet╖ ┌a great trumpet┐, and they will assemble the-ones selected of him out-of the four winds from extremities of universes until extremities of them.
32Moreover from the fig-tree learn you the analogy: whenever already the branch of it might have become tender, and it may produce leaves, you know-experientially that summer {is} near; 33and thus whenever you might observe all these, know-experientially you that it is near upon entries.
34Truly I say to you by-no-means might this, the generation, pass until all these would become; 35the universe and the land will pass, moreover the words of me will by-no-means pass. 36Moreover concerning that, the day, and ┬the┬ ╔a╗ momentf no-one knows except the father ╓of me╖ alone, not-even the universal-messengers, ┌not-even the son┐;
37╓moreover╖ ┌for┐ even-as the days of a Noah thus will be also the arrival of the son of the humanity. 38For ╓even-as╖ ┌as┐ they, chewing and drinking, marrying and ╓giving-forth-in-marriage╖ ┌giving-in-marriage┐, were within ┌those, ┐ the days, the-ones, before the flood as-far-as which day a Noah entered into the ark, 39and they know-experientially not until the flood came, and it lifted-up {the-ones} quite-all; thus will be also the arrival of the son of the humanity.
40At-that-time {the-ones} two will be within the field: ╓the╖ oneg [man] will be taken-along, and ╓the╖ oneg [man] will be dismissed. 41{The-ones} two grinding within the ╓mill-house╖ ┌millstone┐, oneh [woman] will be taken-along, and oneh [woman] will be dismissed.
42Be-fully-awake you then because you do not know which ╓momenti╖ ┌day┐ the sir of you will come. 43Moreover you know-experientially that-one, that if a master-of-the-home was knowing which watchj the thief will come, he would be-fully-awake, and he would not allow {him} to have been tunneled the house of him, 44and for-this-reason become you ready because {within} which momentf you think not, the son of the humanity will come.
45Who thereupon is the completely-confident-and-totally-trustworthy-slave? {The-one} also sensible whom the sir of him appointed upon the ╓body-of-attendants╖ ┌household-of-slaves┐ of him, the-one to ╓give-freely╖ ┌have given-freely┐ to them the nourishment within due measurek; 46happy that, the slave, whom the sir of him having come will find doing thus. 47Truly I say to you that he will appoint him upon all the-possessions of him.
48Moreover if- that, the pernicious slave, -would say within the heart of him, The sir of me is delaying ╓to have come╖, 49and he might begin to beat the fellow-slaves ┌of him┐, moreover ╓to eat╖ ┌he may eat┐ and to drink with the-ones being-intoxicated; 50the sir of that, the slave, will have-arrived within a day which he is not expecting, and within a momentf which he knows-experientially not, 51and he will bisect him, and the share of him will be placed with the expounders; there the wailing and the gnashing of teeth will be.
_____
aThe Greek is καταλύω, katalyō, meaning abolish, destroy, demolish. Contextually abolish is used for destruction of things such as the law and demolish for the destruction of structures as here.
bThe Greek is σῴζω, sōizō, meaning save, rescue, keep alive. Contextually keep alive is better because of the idea of remaining beyond this time or getting through the travail.
cThe Greek is ἀετός, aetos, meaning eagle. Contextually the eagle preys on live animals and do not gather, however there is a corpse, thus a vulture has more meaning as it feeds on dead animals, and they do gather upon a dead animal.
dThe Greek is κόπτω, koptō, meaning smite, cut off, strike oneself in grief as in mourning; contextually which is the best meaning to apply is difficult for smite means to be killed, if so how do they observe, if cut off then from what, so strike-oneself-in-grief appears to be best as they will be in grief for their actions.
eThe Greek is φωνή, phōnē, meaning utterance, voice, sound; contextually for a trumpet sound.
fThe Greek is ὥρα, hōra meaning any period of time, season, year, fitting time; thus contextually the moment, since the time implied is indeterminate and will happen quickly.
gThe Greek is εἷς, heis meaning one and is masculine so the gender of the two in the field is masculine which is not determinable from the Greek word for two whose forms are not gender specific.
hThe Greek is μία, mia meaning one and is feminine so the gender of the two in the mill-house is feminine which is not determinable from the Greek word for two whose forms are not gender specific.
iThe Textus Receptus and the Majority Text Greek is ὥρα, hōra meaning any period of time, season, year, fitting time; thus contextually the moment, since the time implied is indeterminate and will happen quickly. The Nestle-Aland text is ἡμέρα, hēmera meaning day, however contextually the implication is at an indeterminate time or moment.
jThe Greek is φυλακή, phylakē meaning watch, guard, prison; thus contextually the watch as the night was divided into three watches by the Greeks and Israelites before Roman rule and four under this realm and was the time of changing the guard shifts.
kThe Greek is καιρός, kairos, meaning due measure or when time inferred critical time, season, opportune time; thus contextually due measure.
