Matthew Chapter 19: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)

 

        1And it became when the Jesus finished these, the words, he shifted from the Galilee, and he went into the territory of the Judea across the Jordan-River. 2And large crowds followed him, and he medically-treated them there.

      3And the Pharisees came-forward to him, contesting him and saying to him, “If it-is-lawful to a man‹a› to have released the woman of him in-accordance-with all a motive?”

      4Moreover the-one, having replied, said to them, “Did you not discerned that the-one, having ╓made╖ ┌created┐ from a beginning, made them, {the-one} male sex and {the-one} female sex, 5and he said, “On-account-of this, a man‹a› will leave the father and the mother, and he will be adhered to the woman of him, and the ones, two will be into one body‹b›; 6therefore they will no-longer be {the-ones} two but one body‹b›; then which the god coupled, let a humanity severe not.

      7They say to him, “Then why did a Moses enjoin to have given-freely a document of-divorce and to have released her?”

      8He says to them, “Because towards the hardness-of-heart of you a Moses entrusted you to have released the women of you; moreover from a beginning it have not become thus. 9Moreover I say to you, ‘That whoever might release the woman of him ┬except┬ ╒{except‹c›}╕ upon a fornication, and he might marry {the-one} other, he is committed-adultery, ╓and the-one, having had been released, having married, is committed-adultery╖.’ ”

      10His adherents say to him, “If the motive of a man‹a› with the woman is thus, it is-expedient not to have married?”

      11Moreover he says to them, “Not {the-ones} all have room for‹d› this, the word, but to whom it has been given-freely. 12For castrated-persons are whosoever was birthed thus out-of the belly‹e› of the mother, and castrated-persons are whosoever was castrated from-under the humanity, and castrated-persons are whosoever castrated themselves because-of the dominion of the universes. The-one being-able to have room for‹d›, let he have room for‹d›

      13At-that-time toddlers was brought-forward to him so-that he might place-upon them the hands, and he might pray, moreover the adherents censured them. 14Moreover the Jesus said, “Dismiss you {not} the toddlers and hinder you not to have them come towards me for the dominion of the universes is of the-ones such-as-these. 15And he, having been placed-upon them the hands, was proceeded thence.

      16And lo one, having come-forward, said to him, “Good teacher! Which good will I do so-that I have real-and-genuine-life lasting-for-an-eon?”

      17The-one said to him, “Why ╓do you say me {the-one} good, no-one good except one, the god,╖ ┌me concerning the-one good, one is the-one┐ moreover if you desire to enter into the real-and-genuine-life, heed you the injunctions.”

      18He says to him, “Which

      Moreover the Jesus said the one, “You will not murder, you will not commit-adultery, you will not steal, you will not falsely-testify, 19honor you the father and the mother; and you will love-affectionately the-one neighboring of you as yourself

      20The young man says to him, “All these I maintained ╓out-of the youth of me╖, which do I still lack?”

      21the Jesus was asserting to him, “If you desire to be perfect, depart you and trade you the possessions of you, and give-freely you to {the-ones} begging, and you will have treasure within the ╓universe╖ ┌universes┐. And come! Follow you me!”

      22Moreover the young man, having heard the word, being distressed, went-forth for he, having large fortunes, was.

      23Morever the Jesus said to the adherents of him, “Truly I say to you that {the-one} wealthy will enter with-difficulty into the dominion of the universes. 24Moreover again I say to you, ‘It is easier to have traversed a camel through a hole of a needle than {the-one} wealthy to have entered into the dominion of the god.’ ”

      25Moreover having heard the adherents ╓of him╖ were exceedingly astounded saying, “Who is-being-able thereupon to have been rescued?”

      26Moreover the Jesus, having looked-earnestly, said to them, “Beside humanity this is-impossible; moreover beside the god {the-ones} all {are} possible.”

      27At-that-time the Peter, having replied, said to him, “Lo! We dismissed {the-ones} all, and we followed with you, which will be thereupon to us?”

      28Moreover the Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, ‘That, you, the-ones, having followed me within the rebirth, whenever the son of the humanity might sit-down upon a throne of renown of him; also you, judging the twelve tribes of the Israel, ╓will sit-down╖ ┌will be-seated┐ upon twelve thrones; 29and {the-one} allwho╖ ┌whosoever┐ dismissed houses or brothers or sisters or a father or a mother or ╓a woman {of him}╖ or children or fields on-account-of the name of me will receive one-hundred times-as-much, and he will inherit real-and-genuine-life lasting-for-an-eon. 30Moreover {the-ones} many first will be last, and {the-ones many} last {will be} first.’ ”

‹a›The Greek is ἄνθρωπος, anthropos, meaning humanity or a person without regard to sex, however, in this context man, the male sex is implied.

‹b›The Greek is σὰρξ, sarx, meaning flesh, however, in this context body or entity.

‹c›The NA and MT Greek text do not have εἰ, ei meaning if but do have μή, mē meaning not. Contextually the not alone does not render the text with the meaning implied that the word except fulfills. The idiom εἰ μή is usually translated except thus its implied usage in { }.

‹d›The Greek is χωρέω, chōreō meaning give way, advance, have room for; the latter is contextually the meaning here.

‹e›The Greek is κοιλία, koilia meaning any cavity of the body so contextually the uterus or womb or the vernacular belly.
