‹b›The ending of Mark depends on the manuscript source. Please consult modern versions concerning these.

‹c›The Greek is σαββάτον, sabbaton, meaning to Sabbath, a period of seven days, week; the context and grammatical structure is {within the} first {day} of the week, thus the rendering.

‹d›The Greek is the adverb καλῶς, kalōs meaning well, rightly happily. It reads better if the noun form wellness is used.
