Chapter 7: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)

 

        1And the Pharisees and some of the scribes, having come from a Jerusalem, were gathered towards him. 2And ╓they,╖ having observed some of the adherents of him ╓eating╖ ┌that they are eating ┐ loaves of breads with common hands, this is with unwashed, ╓were groused╖. 3For the Pharisees and all the ones Israelites are not eating except they would wash the hands with a fist, holding fast‹a› the Oral Law of the elders. 4And they are not eating except they would purified from a market place, and {the ones} many other is, which they took along to hold fast‹a›, the purifications of cups and pitchers and copper vessels and couches. 5Thereupon╖ ┌And┐ the Pharisees and the scribes are interrogating him, “Wherefore the adherents of you are not walking in accordance with the Oral Law of the elders, but they are eating the loaf of bread with unwashed hands?”

      6Moreover the one ╓having replied╖ said to them, “╓That╖ an Isaiah rightly prophesied concerning you, the expounders, as it has been written, ‘┌That┐ this, the people, are honoring me with the lips, moreover the heart of them has forth far off from me.’ 7Moreover they, teaching precepts {and} injunctions of humanity, vainly worship me.” 8╓For╖ you, having dismissed the injunction of the god, are holding fast‹a› the Oral Law of humanity; ╓you do purifications of pitchers and cups and {the ones} many other closely resembling such as these╖.”

      9And he was saying to them, “Rightly, you break faith with the injunction of the god so that you might ╓heed╖ ┌establish‹b›┐ the Oral Law of you. 10For a Moses said, “Honor you the father of you and the mother of you; and the one making contemptible‹c› a father or a mother, let he end life‹d› with death.” 11Moreover you say ‘If a person would say to the father or the mother, {this is} korban‹e›, which is an offering, which if you would be derived profit from me; 12you no longer permit‹f› him to do nothing with the father ╓of him╖ or the mother ╓of him╖;’ 13annulling the word of the god with the Oral Law of you which you handed over, and you are doing {the ones} many closely resembling such as these.

      14And he, having addressed all the crowd, was saying to them “All! Hear you me and, comprehend you thoroughly; 15it is nothing from-without of the person entering‹g› into him which is being able to have desecrated him, but ╓those,╖ the ones, proceeding forthfrom him╖, is the ones, desecrating the person. ╓16Anyone who has ears to hear, let he hear!╖”

      17And when he entered into a home from the crowd, the adherents of him were interrogating him ╓concerning╖ ┌{in reference to}┐ the analogy.

      18And he says to them, “Thus are you also ignorant with them? Are you not apprehending that the one all from-without, entering‹g› into the person, is not being able to have desecrated him? 19That they are not entering‹g› into the heart of him. But Cleansing‹h›! All foods are proceeding forth into the belly‹i› and into the latrine. 20Moreover he was saying, “That, proceeding forth from the person, that is desecrating the person. 21For from-within out of the heart of humanity the disputations, the ones pernicious, are proceeding forth: ╓adulteries╖; fornications; ┌thefts┐; murders; 22╓thefts╖; ┌adulteries┐; avidities; knaveries; deceit; licentiousness; envy‹j›; defamation; arrogance; folly; 23all these, the ones base, proceed forth from-within, and they are desecrating the person.”

      24╓And╖ ┌Moreover┐ thence he, having stood up, went forth {into} the ╓borders╖ ┌territory┐ of a Tyre ╓and a Sidon╖, and he, having entered into ┬the┬ ╔a╗ house, was desiring no one to have known experientially, and he was not being able to have escaped detection. 25╓For╖ ┌But straightway┐ a woman, having heard concerning him having come, fell forward‹k› towards his feet, whom the little daughter of her was having an impure spirit. 26Moreover the woman was a Greek Syro-Phoenician {as} to nationality‹l›; she was asking him, “So that the inferior divine being ┬may be cast forth┬ ╔might be cast forth╗ out of the daughter of her.”

      27╓Moreover the Jesus said╖ ┌And he was saying┐ to her, “First, dismiss you to have satisfied the children, for it is not excellent to take the loaf of bread of children and to have cast to the puppies.”

      28Moreover the one replied to him and said, “╓Certainly!╖ Sir! ╓For also╖ ┌Also┐ the puppies beneath the table ╓eat╖ ┌eat┐ from the crumbs of the toddlers.”

      29And he said to her, “Because of this, the word, depart you! The inferior divine being has gone forth out of the daughter of you. 30And she, having gone forth into the home of her, found ╓the inferior divine being having had gone forth and the daughter having had been cast upon the couch╖ ┌the toddler, the daughter, having had been cast upon the couch and the inferior divine being having had gone forth┐.

      31And again having gone forth from the territories of a Tyre ╓and a Sidon╖ he came ╓towards╖ ┌through Sidon into┐ the sea of the Galilee up {the one} middle of the territories of a Decapolis.

      32And they bring to him {the one} deaf ┌and┐ speaking with difficulty, and they entreat him so that he might place the hand upon him. 33And he, having taken him forth privately from the crowd, cast the fingers of him into the ears of him and he, having spit, contacted the tongue of him. 34And he, having gazed into the universe, sighed deeply, and he says to him, “Ephphatha‹m› which is be you operable.” 35And immediately the hearings‹n› of him ╓was being operable╖ ┌was opened┐ and the bond of the tongue of him was loosed, and he was speaking correctly.

      36And he admonished them so that they ╓might╖ ┌may┐ say to no one; moreover {the one} as much ashe╖ ┌he┐ was admonishing; ╓they╖ ┌they┐ were more exceedingly heralding more extraordinarily; 37and they were being astounded beyond all measure, rightly saying, “{The ones} all he has done, and he makes the ones deaf to hear and the ones speechless to speak.

‹a›The Greek is κρατέω krateō meaning be strong, seize, control; thus contextually hold fast the traditions or precepts handed down. The Oral Law was an interpretation by men of how to fulfill the Torah.

‹b›The Greek is ἵστημι, histēmi meaning any stand, establish, contextually establish.

‹c›This interpretation is the proper definition of the Hebrew which is generally translated curse. The Assyrian, sister language to Hebrew, meaning is to despise or dishonor. Additionally the Greek means to speak ill of, revile, abuse, calumniate, traduce, imprecated evil on.

‹d›The phrase “let he end life” is normally just translated to die implying to be put to death.

‹e›This is the transliteration of the Hebrew word for any offering or oblation given to God. The context is if one has set aside anything as a offering to God and thus was able to profit from it, the one was not to assist his parents from this having been set aside.

‹f›The Greek is ἀφίημι, aphiēmi, meaning properly to send from one’s self or dismiss, thus in this context dismissing the ones desiring to aid the parents, or because of the negative no longer the meaning is permit.

‹g›The Greek is εἰσπορεύω, eisporeuō, meaning proceed into or insert. This word is a later use for εἰσέρχομαι, eiserchomai meaning to enter or proceed into thus the use of enter here to fit the context.

‹h›The Greek is καθαρισμός, katharismos, meaning cleansing, purification thus contextually a meaningless exercise to purify what goes into one as it does not impact what comes out of a person.

‹i›The Greek is κοιλία, koilia meaning any cavity of the body so contextually the belly, i.e. the gastrointestinal tract.

‹j›The Greek is ὀφθαλμὸς πονηρός, ophthalmos ponēpos, an idiom meaning eye base or bad light by implication looking at others from jealousy or resentment, thus envy.

‹k›The Greek is προσπίπτω, prospiptō, meaning fall upon, assault, prostrate; the context is the latter but reads better using fall forward.

‹l›The Greek is γένος, genos, meaning race, direct descent; generation, type the context is the nationality or descent.

‹m›This is the transliteration of the Greek or Aramaic word for to be open which is defined by the clause following.

‹n›The Greek is ἀκοή, akoē, meaning hearing, hearsay the context is the ears are hearing thus the use of hearing.
