John Chapter 19: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)
1Then at-that-time the Pilate took the Jesus and he whipped {him}; 2and the soldiers, having interlaced a wreath out-of thornbushes, placed {it} upon the head of him, and they enwrapped a purple outer-garment {onto} him. 3And ┌they were coming to him, and┐ they were saying, Hail! King of the-ones Israelite! And they were giving-freely him slaps-on-the-face.
4╓Then╖ ┌And┐ again the Pilate came-forth outside, and he says to them, Observe you I lead him outside to you so-that you might know-experientially that I find not-one motive within him. 5Then the Jesus, wearing the wreath of-thorns and the purple outer-garment, came-forth outside; and he [Pilate] says to them, ╓Observe you╖ ┌Behold┐ the person!
6Then when the chief-priests and assistants observed him, they shouted saying, Crucify you! Crucify you ╥him╥!
The Pilate says to them, Take you him, and crucify you him, for I do not find a motive within him.
7The-ones Israelite replied to him, You! We have a law, and in-accordance-with the law ╓of us╖ he owes to have deceased because he made himself a son of a god.
8Then when Pilate heard this, the word; he was more-exceedingly terrified; 9and he entered again into the praetorium, and he says to the Jesus, Whence are you?
Moreover the Jesus did not give-freely him an answer. 10The Pilate says to him. Do you not speak to me, do you not know that I have an authority to have you ╓crucified╖ ┌released┐, and I have the authority to have you ╓released╖ ┌crucified┐.
11┬The┬ ╔A╗ Jesus replied ┌to him┐, You are not having not-one authority overa me except it, having had been given-freely to you from-above, was; the-one, ╓handing╖ ┌having handed┐-over me to you, has a greater failure. 12Out-of this the Pilate sought to have released him. Moreover the-ones Israelite ╓screamed╖ ┌shouted┐, If- you -would release this-one, you are not {the-one} friendly-loving of the Caesar; all the-one making ┬him┬ ╔himself╗ a king, contradicts with the Caesar. 13Then the Pilate heard ╓this, the word╖ ┌of these, the words┐, he led outside the Jesus, and he sat-down upon ╓the╖ ┌a┐ tribunal into a place being calledb Lithostrōtonc, moreover in-Hebrew Gabbatha.
14Moreover it was the preparation of the Passover; ╓moreover about╖ ┌it was nearly┐ the sixth hour he says to the-ones Israelite, Observe you the king of you!
15╓Moreover the-ones╖ ┌Then those┐ shouted, Lift-up you! Lift-up you! Crucify you him!
The Pilate says to them, Might I crucify the king of you?
The chief-priests replied, We have not a king except a Caesar!
16Then at-that-time he handed-over him to them so-that he might be crucified. Moreover, then they took-along the Jesus, ┬and they led-forth┬ ╥and they led╥; 17and he, bearing the cross ╓of him╖ ┌himself┐, went-forth into ╒the-one╕ ╥a place╥ being calledb a place of a skull, which is calledb in-Hebrew Golgotha. 18Where they crucified him, and with him {the-ones} two other hence and hence, moreover {the-one} middle the Jesus. 19Moreover the Pilate ╔also╗ wrote a title, and he placed upon the cross; moreover it, having had been written: a Jesus, the Nazoraean, the king of the-ones Israelite, was. 20This then {the-ones} many of the-ones Israelite discern the title because the place where the Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it, having had been written in-Hebrew, in-Greek, {and} in-Roman, was.
21Then the chief-priests of the-ones Israelite were saying to the Pilate, Write you not the king of the-ones Israelite, but that that-one said, I am a king of the-ones Israelite.
22The Pilate replied, Which I have written, I have written.
23Then the soldiers, when they crucified the Jesus, took the outer-garments of him, and they made four portions, a portion to each soldier; and the tunic, moreover the tunic was seamless, woven out-of the ones from-the-beginningd throughoute {the-one} whole. 24Then they said towards {the-ones} one-another, Might we not split it, but might we draw lots concerning it, of whom it will be. So-that the writing might be fulfilled, the-one saying, They divided the outer-garments of me with themselves, and they drew lots onto the apparelf; then indeed the soldiers did these.
25Moreover beside the cross of Jesus the mother of him, and the sister of the mother of him, Mary, the-one of Clopas, and Mary, the-one Magdalene, had stood. 26Then a Jesus having observed the mother and the adherent, whom he was loving-affectionately, having stood-besideg; and he says to the mother ╓of him╖, Woman, ╓Lo╖ ┌Observe you┐ the son of you!
27Accordingly he says to the adherent, ╓Lo╖ ┌Observe you┐ the mother of you! And from that, the momenth, the adherent took her into the-ones, his-own.
28After these, the Jesus, ╒having had known╕ ╥having observed╥ that {the-ones} all has already been finished, so-that the writing might be consummated; he says, I thirst!
29╓Then an╖ ┌An┐ vesseli replete of poor-wine was sittingj; ╓moreover the-ones, having satiated a sponge of a poor-wine and having placed-around a hyssop, ╖ ┌then they, having placed-around a hyssop a sponge replete of the poor-wine┐ brought-forward to the mouth of him. 30Then when the Jesus took the poor-wine, he said, It has been finished! And he, having lain-down the head, handed-over the spirit.
31Then the-ones Israelite, whereas it was the preparation so-that the bodies might not stay upon the cross within the Sabbath, for {the-one} great was the day of that, the Sabbath, asked the Pilate so-that the legs of them might be shattered, and they might be lifted-up. 32Then the soldiers came and indeed they shattered the legs of the-one first and the-one other of the-one having been crucified together with him.
33Moreover, yet having come {into} the Jesus, inasmuch-as they observed him having had already died, they did not crush the legs of him. 34But one of the soldiers with a javelin of him pierced the side, and ╒straightway╕ ╥immediately╥ a blood and a water came-forth. 35And the-one, having observed, has borne-witness, and the attestation of him is true; ╓and-that-one╖ ┌and that-one┐ knows that he says {the-one} truthful so-that you might have-complete-confidence-and-be-totally-entrusting. 36For it became these so-that the writing might be fulfilled, The bone of him is being not crushed; 37and again a writing, {the-one} other-different, says They will observe into whom they stabbed.
38╒Moreover after╕ ╥After╥ these, Joseph, the-one from an Arimathea, being an adherent of Jesus; moreover having had been hidden because-of the terror of the-ones Israelite, asked the Pilate so-that he may lift-up the body of the Jesus; and Pilate entrusted; then he came, and he lifted-up the body ╓of the Jesus╖ ┌him┐.39Moreover the Nicodemus, the-one having come to Jesus the-one first of night, bringing a mixture of myrrh and bitter-aloes ┬about┬ ╔nearly╗ one-hundred litrak, also came.
40Then they took the body of the Jesus, and they bound it ╒with╕ ╥within╥ swathing with ┬the bitter -aloes like┬ the aromatic-mixtures according-as a habit is to prepare-for-burial with the-ones Israelite. 41Moreover an orchardl was within the place where he was crucified, and within the orchardl a new sepulcher within which no-one ╓was placed╖ ┌, having had been placed, was┐ as-not-yet. 42Then there because-of the preparation of the-ones Israelite because the sepulcher was near, they placed the Jesus.

aThe Greek is κατά, kata meaning direction downward thus the context is the authority of Pilate is downward from on high in which we say over.
bThe Greek is λέγω, legō meaning to say, however we use called to name a place.
cThis is the transliteration of the Greek as there is no clear definition of a place being so named; the descriptions given are for a mosaic section of pavement. If this praetorium had been Herods palace, then very likely there was a court yard with a throne from which he would have directed business with the general populace and then likely a mosaic pavement.
dThe Greek is ἄνωθεν, anōthen an adverb meaning from above, from the first, from the beginning, in the context of knitted garment making starting from the neck as the beginning.
eThe Greek is the preposition διά, dia indicating division when used with the genitive case it implies a motion either in a straight line through or when not throughout, in the midst of. Throughout makes more sense contextually.
fThe Greek is ἱματισμός himatismos meaning clothing, apparel in general; here contextually it refers to the tunic, the inner garment. Thus he was probably crucified in the nude as this would have been the greatest form of humiliation to bestow on someone considered a criminal.
gThe Greek is παρίστημι, paristēmi meaning stand beside, supply, compare, in this context stand beside.
hThe Greek is ὥρα, hōra meaning any period of time, season, year, fitting time; thus contextually moment as just now start.
iThe Greek is σκεῦος, skeuos meaning vessel, implement of any kind, the latter being translated equipment, however in this context of a liquid being present vessel is more appropriate.
jThe Greek is κεῖμαι, keimai meaning lie, repose, be situated, as I see Greek usage for the words designating sitting they correspond to human action and this word is used for inanimate objects where we use the sitting, thus the vessel is sitting since lying would imply in English the possibility of being empty and on a side.
kThe Greek is λίτρα, litra a unit of weight = to the Roman libra, approximately 12 English ounces, it may be translated as pound but that is confusing with our pound of 16 oz.; so I have used the transliteration of the Greek.
lThe Greek is κῆπος, kēpos meaning garden, orchard, plantation. The usual translation is garden, unless one is thinking like a botanical garden with trees and other plantings where people could gather, then garden makes sense, but if garden brings to mind a plot of land with vegetable plants, then that is hardly a place for people to gather without trampling the plants and there is no shade or covering. Thus I have chosen orchard as a more probably setting for a gathering of people.
