John Chapter 16: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)

1“I have spoken these to you so-that you might not stumble. 2They will make you, expelled-from-the-sacred-assembly; but a fitting-time‹a› comes so-that the-one all, having killed you, might think to bring-forward a service to the god. 3And they will do these ┬to youbecause they did not know-experientially the father, not-even me. 4But I have spoken these, so-that whenever the fitting-time‹a› ┌of them┐ might come, you may call-to-mind them, that I said these to you, moreover I did not say these to you out-of a beginning because I was with you.

5Moreover now I am departing towards the-one having sent me, and no-one out-of you is asking me, ‘Where are you departing?’ 6But because I have spoken these to you, the grief has fulfilled the heart of you.

7But I say the truth to you, it is-expedient to you so-that I might go-forth. For- if- ╒I╕ ╥I╥ -would not go-forth, the-one advocating ┬by-no-means might┬ ╔will not╗ come to you. Moreover if- I -would be proceeded, I will send him towards you. 8And, that-one, having come, will decide the world-order concerning failures and concerning a righteousness and concerning a judgment. 9Indeed concerning a failure because they are not having-complete-confidence-and-being-totally-entrusting into me; 10moreover, concerning a righteousness I am departing to the father ╓of me╖ and you are no-longer ascertaining me; 11moreover, concerning a judgment because the official of this, the world-order, has been judged. 12I have yet {the-ones} many to say to you, but you are-being-able not to bear just-now.

13Moreover whenever that-one, the spirit of truth, might come; he will guide you ╓into all the truth╖ ┌within all the truth┐. For he will not speak from himself, but as-much-as he ╓would hear╖ ┌will hear┐, he will speak, and he will proclaim the-ones coming to you. 14That-one will make-renowned me because he will receive out-of the-one possessed-by-me, and he will proclaim to you. 15The father has {the-ones} all as-much-as, it is {the-ones} possessed-by-me, for-this-reason I said that he will receive out-of the-one possessed-by-me, and he will proclaim to you. 16And a-little-time you are ╓not╖ ┌no-longer┐ ascertaining me, and again a-little-time you will also observe me, becauseI┬ ╥I╥ depart towards the father.”

17Then they, out-of the adherents of him, said to {the-ones} one-another which is this which he says to us, “A-little-time you not ascertain me, and again a-little-time you will also observe me, thatI╖ ┌I┐ am departing towards the father.”

18Then they were saying, “Which is this which he says, ‘The-one, a-little-time?’ We do not know which he speaks.”

19Then Jesus knew-experientially that they were desiring to ask him, and he said to them concerning this, “You are seeking with {the-ones} one-another because I said, “A-little-time you are not ascertaining me, and again a-little-time you will observe me. 20Truly, truly I say to you, you will weep-aloud, and you will sing-a-dirge, moreover the world-order will rejoice; moreover you will be distressed, but the grief of you will become into a joy. 21The woman, whenever she may engender, has a grief because the fitting-time‹a› of her came; moreover, whenever she might birth the toddler, she no-longer calls-to-mind the affliction because-of the joy that a person was birthed into the world-order. 22And then you now indeed have a grief; moreover I again will observe you, and the heart of you will rejoice, and no-one lifts-up the joy of you from you.

23And within that, the day, you will not ask me nothing; truly, truly, I say to you, ╓that {the-ones} as-much-as╖ ┌somethingyou would request-for-yourselves the father in the name of me, he will give-freely to you. 24Until just-now you did not ask nothing within the name of me, request-for-yourselves you and you will receive so-that the joy of you, having had been fulfilled, may be. 25I have spoken these within an allegory to you, ╓but╖ a fitting-time‹a› is coming that I will no-longer speak within an allegory to you, but I will proclaim plainly concerning the father to you. 26Within that, the day, you will request-for-yourself within the name of me. And I say not to you because I will ask the father concerning you. 27For he, the father, is loving-friendly you because you have loved-friendly me, and you have had-complete-confidence-and-were-totally-entrusting that I did come-forth beside the god. 28I came-forth beside the father, and I have come into the world-order; again I dismiss the world-order, and I am proceeding towards the father.”

29The adherents of him say to him, “Observe you now you speak plainly, and you say nothing allegory. 30Now we know that you know {the-ones} all, and you do not have a need; so-that who might ask you within this, we are having-complete-confidence-and-being-totally-entrusting that you did come-forth from a god.”

31╓The╖ ┌A┐ Jesus replied to them, “Just-now! Are you having-complete-confidence-and-being-totally-entrusting? 32Lo! A fitting-time‹a› is coming, and ╓now╖ it has come, so-that each might be scattered into the-ones their-own, ╓and me╖ ┌and-me┐ you might dismiss alone; and I am not alone because the father is with me.” 33I have spoken these to you so-that you may have a peace within me, you are having affliction within the world-order, but be-of-good-courage you, I have prevailed {over} the world-order.
