Chapter 14: (Introduction to the Gospels, Coding Reference)
Let the heart of you not be distrubed, have you complete confidence and be totally entrusting into the god and have you complete confidence and be totally entrusting into me. 2Many rooms are within the house of my father; moreover, if not, I would have said to you, I am proceeding to have prepared a place to you. 3And if I would be proceeded, also I would prepare‹a› a place to you; again I come, and I will take you along towards myself so that where I am, you also may be. 4And where I am departing, you know; and you know the way.
A Thomas says to him, “Sir we do not know where you are departing, and how are we being able to know the way?”
Jesus says to him, “I am the way and the truth and the real and genuine life, no one comes to the father, except through me. 7If you ╓had╖ ┌have┐ experientially known me, you also ╓would had experientially known╖ ┌will experientially know┐ the father of me; not only from this time are you experientially knowing him but also you have observed him.”
A Philip says to him, “Sir, display you to us the father, and it suffices for us.”
The Jesus says to him, “I am ╓{for} so long a time╖ with you ┌so long a time ┐, and you do not experientially know me, Philip, the one having had observed me, has observed the father, ╓and╖ how do you say, ‘Display you to us the father.’
Do you not have complete confidence and be totally entrusting into me, that I {am} within the father and the father is within me, the messages which I speak to you. I speak not from myself, but the father, ╓the one╖ staying within me; ╓he╖ ┌he┐ does the work ┌of himself┐. 11Have you complete confidence and be totally entrusting me that I {am} within the father and the father {is} within me. Moreover, if not, have you complete confidence and be totally entrusting ╓me╖ because of the works themselves.
Truly, truly, I say to you. the one having complete confidence and being totally entrusting into me the works, which I am doing, and that he will do and greater than these he will do because I proceed to the father ╓of me╖. 13And which anything you would request for yourselves in the name of me; this I will do, so that the father might be made renowned within the son. 14If anything you would request me for yourselves within the name of me, I will do.
If you would love me affectionately, heed you the injunctions, the ones possessed by me; 16and ╓I╖ ┌I┐ will ask the father, and he will freely give to you {the one} other advocating so that may ╓stay╖ ┌be┐ with you into the eon, 17the spirit of the truth which the world-order is not being able to have received because it is not ascertaining it, not even does it know ╓it╖ experientially; ╓moreover╖ you know it experientially because it remains beside you, and it will be within you. 18I will not dismiss you fatherless, I am coming towards you.
Yet a little, and the world-order is no longer ascertaining me; moreover you are ascertaining me that I live, and you will live. 20Within that, the day, you will experientially know that I within the father of me; and you within me, and I within you. 21That one, the one having the injunctions of me and heeding them, is the one affectionately loving me; moreover the one affectionately loving me will be affectionately loved from under the father of me; and I will affectionately love him, and I will myself become visible to him.”
Judas, not the Iscariot, says to him, “Sir, ╔and╗ what has become that you intend to become yourself visible to us and NOT to the world-order.”
┬The┬ ╔A╗ Jesus replied, and he said to him, “If anyone would love affectionately me, he will heed the word of me, and the father of me will affectionately love him; and we will come towards him, and we will make a room beside him. 24The one, not affectionately loving me, does not heed the words of me, and the word, which you hear, is not {the one} possessed by me, but of a father, the one having sent me. 25I, staying beside you, have spoken these to you.
Moreover the one advocating, the spirit, the one sacred, which the father is sending within the name of me, that one will teach you {the ones} all, and he will remind you {the ones} all which I said to you.
I dismiss to you a peace, and I freely give to you a peace, the one possessed by me, not according as the world freely gives; let not the heart of you be disturbed, let it not even be very fearful. 28You heard that I said to you, ┌┐ ‘I am departing, and I am coming towards you; if you were affectionately loving me, you would be rejoiced that ╓I said╖ I proceed towards the father because the father ╓of me╖ is greater than me. 29And now I have said to you before to have become so that whenever it might become, you will have complete confidence and be totally entrusting. 30I will no longer speak {the pnes} many with you, for the official of ┬this, the world-order┬ ╔the world-order╗ is coming; and he has not within me nothing. 31But so that the world may know experientially, that I am affectionately loving the father, and according as the father enjoined me, thus I do. Arise you, may we lead thence.
